This is more than a run, it’s a physical and emotional pilgrimage across America to explore what it truly means to be a man.

THE MISSION:

To help men connect with men to create meaningful conversation and community.

Along the way, Jason will interview experts and everyday men about masculinity, fear, failure, vulnerability, and personal growth.

These raw, unfiltered conversations are an invitation for men to face the quiet fears they often keep buried: fear of not being enough, fear of weakness, fear of failing.

THE GOAL

To break the silence around modern manhood and create space for courage, emotional honesty, and connection.

THE METHOD

Jason’s wife, Nikki, will drive the support vehicle, and together they’ll share daily 1–2 minute updates and weekly reflections on YouTube and social media.

Every mile, every conversation, and every tear is being documented for a powerful short film to be shared at film festivals nationwide.

THE RESULT

This project isn’t just about Jason, it’s about building a community of men willing to open up, speak honestly, and support one another.

“Being a man isn't about avoiding fear,

it’s about running toward it.”

Meet Jason.

Jason is a former professional motocross racer turned ultra-endurance runner, dedicated to exploring the outer limits of human grit. Born in Minnesota, he spent 20 years in Texas before planting roots in Ridgway, Colorado with his wife, Nikki, where they now share a life of mountain adventures with their two dogs. A black belt in tae kwon do, certified yoga teacher, and rock climbing guide, Jason’s life has always been anchored in movement, challenge, and adventure.

But in recent years, the real challenge has come from within.

After decades of chasing athletic achievement, Jason began questioning everything he thought made him a man. He began reaching out and building a support team of therapists, coaches, and mentors to better equip him to handle his fear of failure, fear of success, and his deepest fear of all, not being enough.

Jason now deeply desires to become a vessel for insight on what it means to be a man. He also just found out he is having a baby boy, coming January 2026, so this project is now becoming more of a message to his future son on how to live a healthy, purpose driven life.

Jason is ready for positive change, not just for himself, but for men all around the country.
